If you are still at University and you are looking to get involved in something that will not only look great on your CV, but will also help your career in the creative industry then please read on.

We are currently searching for Student Brand Managers in Universities across the UK to help us engage more creatives, raise awareness of Concept Cupboard as well as help us improve the site and the service we provide.

Student Brand Manager

What will you be expected to do?
A little bit of everything! From giving a presentations about Concept Cupboard to your peers, through to helping us set up meetings & events at your University. It won’t take up lots of time, but we’ll need your help in concentrated bursts over the next 12 months.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is as passionate about Concept Cupboard as we are. You’ll need to be confident, committed & trustworthy as we’ll be trusting you to spread the word about Concept Cupboard within your University.

What will you get in return?
Sadly we can’t pay you for your help, but we can do a few other things to make sure we stay even:

  • Agency tours: we’ll arrange special guided tours around some of the UK’s best agencies.
  • Pint with a Creative Director: get an invite to the pub with an award-winning CD
  • Book Crits: get feedback on your portfolio from award-winning creatives

In addition you’ll be first to hear about job opportunities, new Concept Cupboard developments and other good stuff we haven’t even thought of yet.

Short term work for a freelance web programmer has become available for a finance company based in Southwark, London. This opportunity would provide 1 to 2 weeks worth of work with the potential for more following this period. The day rate is £200.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Ability to work with Agile team and in Agile way (or willingness to learn how)

Scope of work

To be provided, but as a guide: there is an overarching design in place already but you’ll be required to build the html toolkit and some specific content pages, tables & tools within the current site.

Web & Social Media rockstar needed right now!!!

That’s right! We are looking for a web genius to join the Concept Cupboard team in Richmond (Surrey) and take ownership of some really fun web projects we have planned. This will be an internship like no other. We want you to add value and help shape the future of Concept Cupboard. This isn’t a role for someone who just wants to sit behind a desk and do what they are told.

What we’ll give you

  • 3 month paid internship (starting as soon as possible)
  • A desk & a computer (aren’t you lucky)
  • As well as owning your own projects, you’ll play an integral role in planning our future
  • You’ll get invited along to lots of events and cool meetings with companies like Redbull & O2
  • You’ll work alongside the MD of Concept Cupboard & get regular access to the CC board
  • Contacts in some of the UK’s best agencies & world’s biggest brands

What skills we are looking for

  • You’ll need to be extremely proficient in: PHP, CSS, HTML, Java Script, My SQL & WordPress.
  • You should also know what you are doing in terms of SEO & Social Media integration.
  • Ideally you’ll also be able to design as well as build sites.

In addition to the above we are looking for someone who really wants to work with us. You’ll need to be a self starter, keen to make an impact and be happy to lend a hand in any area needed.

  • A tie company are looking to re-shoot half of their product range (approx. 600 products)
  • All ties will be shot on a mannequin with a white shirt (see image for example)

Digital Designer needed for a gaming company

A major gaming company is looking for a new graduate Digital Designer/Animator to join them on a year long contract from June this year. You’ll be working on one of their most successful titles helping them create everything from graphics to animation storyboards. They are specifically looking for someone with a Computer Art/Digital Design/New Media degree, but you’ll also eager to get immersed in the particular game titles you would work on.
