You’ll also need to promise to write a blog post for Concept Cupboard that covers some of the things you learnt at the lecture. We’ll then share that with some big names in advertising to make it worth your while.

Win a place at our Creative Workshop & get to rub shoulders with an award-winning Creative Director

Enter for your chance to get a place on the Creative Workshop

On Wednesday 22nd June @ Fallon’s London Office from 6pm – late

How to win your place

The only way to guarantee your (or your team’s) spot is to submit a concept for one or all of the following briefs:

Average work won’t get you a place. It’s all about the idea, so spend a good amount of time making sure you have a killer concept. In the workshop you’ll get help turning that concept into a finished piece of work.

We’ll then pick the best concepts for each brief and invite those creatives to the Workshop. If you work in a team you’ll get two invites. We have a big space so if the idea is good enough you’ll get an invite. Please send in your concepts as early as you can to make sure we have enough time to review them and then ultimately get n invite out to you.

What will happen at the event?

In order to get an invite you’ll already have produced a great concept(s). Under the supervision of an award-winning Creative Director, and with the help of some very talented creatives already working in the industry, you will develop your concept into final print-ready artwork that will then be entered into the Big Bus Challenge, assuming the client approves the work.

For more information check out the FAQs at the bottom of the page.

Why Enter?

Here are just a few of the reasons you should enter:

  • You’ll get to show not one but three award-winning Creative Directors what you can do
  • You’ll get to mingle with creative teams who are already working at top London agencies
  • Winning the Big Bus Challenge itself will see your work featured in Campaign magazine
  • Plus if you win your campaign will run on buses around the UK
  • You’ll also get £2,000 worth of department store vouchers
  • Oh and there’ll be plenty of beer & snacks on the night.

Q: When will I know I have received an invite?
A: We’ll let you know as soon as we can, but some of the briefs will not be released until the weekend before the event. We suggest you pencil the event in your diary now. Glass half full and all that.

Q: What do I need to bring with me?
A: We’ll be providing food & drink, a space to work and some pads and pens. You’ll need to bring anything else you need including a mac to do final artwork. If you have any problems please flag them early and we’ll see what we can do.

Q: What happens if we don’t win the Big Bus Challenge?
A: Ultimately this is a competition and there is a chance that we won’t win. However your work will still belong to you and with your permission we will promote it on the concept Cupboard site and in the film we are going to create of the evening. But this is evening is about more than just winning the competition. It is a chance to get in front of 3 x Creative Directors. Mingle with some young creatives already working for top agencies and also bolster your profile.
